Recently returned from 3 wks in BC and the Nat Parks in AB. Didn't see any excessive trash, but sure saw a lot of Albertons and AB plates on rentals!! Did run into a few BC'rs at PP and Rec sites that didn't have much "love" for their eastern neighbors!!! Felt like it was mostly due to the local's favorite spots being overrun by non-locals.
I sort of related it to the animosity sometimes shown by Washingtonians to Orygonians and Calyfornians. Some occasionally use an unprintable description for those from the more southern state!!! Of course, these same feelings are also found in some of the "others"!!!!
