Hello, I live in Bethlehem NH and use Route 2 to drive over to Burlington VT and Lake George. I pick it up in St J VT. I drove it the other day and it was in pretty good shape, there are always some funky spots that are coming due on our roads! I only remember 1 construction area, very short and no problem, maybe a 3 minute delay. Route 2 in Maine near Bethel going west to Gorham NH was also in good shape. The road out of Gorham is really pretty going towards Jefferson and Lancaster. Lancaster has a nice visitors center and it is a short walk to a good bite to eat, The Polish Princess. Route 2 is a truck route but it isn't 4 lanes by any means, nice route no traffic. Hope this helps!
