Don't know your destination but if going to NY I love riding the ferry from Grand Isle VT to north of Plattsburgh NY. They run constantly 24 hours and take large commercial vehicles and campers all the time. There are other ferry options such as Charlotte VT to essex NY. Also the Champlain Bridge, visitor center on other side on left, or you can pull into Crown Point Fort ruins on right. Watch your speed coming off bridge!
