We recently completed 8 weeks with 6 border crossings. On one of them into BC, my cousin's case of oranges was confiscated. My wife, though, was allowed to keep 2 tomatoes as long as they were not seed tomatoes and she promised to eat them.
I thought this was funny but my cousin didn't agree!
I'll also second the idea of taking off the sunglasses so they don't even have to ask.
