Bar Harbor to white mountain NH

We drive this route from VT every fall. RT 2 has been re-paved in VT, is fine in NH, and has been rebuilt to be almost a boulevard in ME! Last fall the only slow going was in Trenton ME just before crossing the bridge to Mt Desert Island.

We do it every year.

We went from the White Mtns to Bar Harbor and had no problem doing it in a reasonable time. I don't recall the drive time, but we left after an early breakfast and arrived in Bar Harbor about 3-4 p.m. There is some 4-lane highway, but much of it is 2-lane. You won't make great time on the 2-lane as it is a bit curvy and rolling in places.

Just don't try to take it up My Washington!!
