We have been across the CBBT more than a couple times as well. Always be aware of the wind. If any doubt, stay put. Don't cross. A day delay is better than being spread all over the road or blown off the bridge.
Being aware of wind direction is good too. Most of the bridge is in basically a N/S direction so as long as the wind is not broadside the ride should be OK.
I see that the CBBT cut off for high profile vehicles is 40mph wind. A 5er is not much more than an empty box on wheels. I would stay put if winds are gusting over 30-35. I would also travel with a full watertank too just to add weight down low & lower the center of gravity.
