Yes, it looks like a passport is the way to go for the various scenarios. (Another hassle to get one of those!)
Especially now we have a new government that is likely to get us back to being called Canuckistan any time now, so the boom could be lowered without warning any time on all this stuff.
(Yes I know politics is a no-no here, but it does apply in this case if you are going by the odds whether to get a passport or just go with the enhanced driver's licence while in the US for the next while)
Sounds like you are not happy with Canada! I suggest you'all move south & solve both problems at the same time! Don't let the door hit you on the way out! Oh, & btw, that isn't politics, just pure racism.
