Wineries from Oliver to Vernon. Lots of wineries if you like them (I love them). Spent a week both of the last 2 years camping in Oliver and visiting wineries.
Can't think of anything cool between Revelstoke and Banff.
With a 9-year old, you may not be doing winery tours, but don't miss Quail's Gate Winery in West Kelowna. It's not a tour or tasting that's the attraction, but the food and view. We had the best meal of our entire 3-month trip to Alaska at that winery. And the view from the dining room was unbelievable--hillside vineyards, roses blooming, the blue lake below in the valley, and even a summer shower that came right up the lake in slow motion. Magical!
Revelstoke to Banff has three of the greatest sights in Canada--1,000-ft. high Takakkaw Falls between Field and Kicking Horse Pass, the spiral tunnels of the Canadian Pacific Railway near the top of the pass, and Lake Louise. If you get up to Lake Louise early in the morning, your daughter will be amazed by all the wedding photographers taking photos of brides in their wedding dresses and grooms in tuxes with the lake and mountains in the background. You can even rent a canoe for a couple of hours and just paddle around that beautiful turquoise lake.
The trip looks great, have fun!
PS--Last fall, we spent three beautiful, sunny days in your neck of the woods. We stayed in the FHU campground (the only one open) at Manitoba's gorgeous Riding Mountain National Park. We were there over a weekend and the town was almost empty of visitors. Our little kayak was blast on the clear, cold lake. Saw lots of wildlife including a bull moose that stopped traffic on Route 10 between town and Moon Lake. It made a great stop on our way to Lake of the Woods.
