We have found the Milepost to be invaluable, the Church's book is good but we didn't use it much this year. I bought a Milepost in 2012 but a family issue forced us to postpone our trip. In 2013 I ordered an update and used the older one for "cut and paste" to make us a shorter, easier version. Like others, I also made lots of notes in the 2013. So this year...I had three copies! I also kept, and organized the most useful of the publications that we picked up as we traveled. State, provencial, and local visitor's centers are great for getting information, especially about lesser known places to camp. Please don't depend on getting any information from the internet once you are underway. It's great when it works, but can be very frustrating when it does not. Make notes or print out what interests you. Have a wonderful trip! lizzie
