Best place to cross border from ON, CN to MI,US?

Hi folks, I'm working my way down from New Brunswick to Niagara Falls and want to know where I should cross the border back into the US? I will be heading southwest back to AZ and prefer not u...

I always cross at Port Huron/Sarnia. I understand that Detroit can be a hassle but I thought it would be shorter. However checking Google maps shows the distance from Niagara Falls to Phoenix using either port of entry is just about the same mileage wise. Personally I would stay away from Detroit
