Best place to cross border from ON, CN to MI,US?

Apart from Hornet's multi-posting, you should get the idea that avoiding Detroit is a good idea. We live closer to Detroit and we still avoid it.

If you cross back into the US at Niagara, you use non-toll roads across Ohio, but you will have to look for them. Both OH and NY don't care if you like them as long as you leave money behind.
