best route Columbus, OH to Texas Gulf area
Soon traveling South to Texas- any helpful suggestions? 31' RV, two dogs and two retirees.

If you're in Columbus or further north, I70 west to I57, I57 south to I55. I55 south to I40. I40 west to I30. I30 west to Loop 610 around SE Dallas. I35 south to San Antonio. I37 southeast to Corpus Christi. I used this route for several years traveling between Cleveland and San Antonio. If you're south of Columbus, I71 south to I65, then I65 to I40, then west as above.
