best route Columbus, OH to Texas Gulf area
Soon traveling South to Texas- any helpful suggestions? 31' RV, two dogs and two retirees.

Avoid I20 thru Louisana.....it is rough riding!!
I40 to I30 thru Tenn. and Arkansas would be better....
Have been on both route the past two months.
Came down 75 from Detroit to Nashville to Memphis to Dallas just 10 days ago.
If you have time - stop in West Memphis Arkansas at Tom Sawyer RV Park on the Mississippi River, very enjoyable, relaxing stop.
