best route Columbus, OH to Texas Gulf area
Soon traveling South to Texas- any helpful suggestions? 31' RV, two dogs and two retirees.

We've been going down to the Corpus Christi/Rockport area since 2004 from the Louisville Ky area and we have been every way imaginable and we have found out the best for us is:
I65 south to Nashville, I40 to Memphis, I30 to Texarkana, US59 down to Houston, pick up US77 on down toward Corupus or get on TX-35 over to Rockport.
You only have 4 or 5 RV parks in Corpus whereas Rockport has over 10
