I was going north on I-75 from Florida Saturday March 12th. Just south of Forsyth the traffic came to a crawl at 4pm. By crawl I mean it took an hour to go 3 miles.
Finally got off and stayed at Forsyth KOA. I could see I-75 from the campground. About midnight the traffic was moving better. We got up at 3am and sailed through downtown Atlanta.
The problem was one of the northbound lanes was closed at Forsyth, but that was enough to jam traffic up for about 10 miles. It looks like a long-term road project.
