best route from Bend OR to Rocky Mtn NP
We are planning a cross country trip and the best route for this leg of the trip worries me. We have a 30'MH and will be towing a Jeep.I am worried about the drive through the mountains with the tow....

From Bend the shortest route east is US20 to Ontario. There is one reasonable pass to go over. ID is not bad and being on the interstate highway system means lots of truck traffic and relatively easy grades. Once you cross the Rockies at about the UT/WY border it will be flat lands from there east.
