best route from Bend OR to Rocky Mtn NP
We are planning a cross country trip and the best route for this leg of the trip worries me. We have a 30'MH and will be towing a Jeep.I am worried about the drive through the mountains with the tow....

Nothing really to worry about.
I agree with US 20 east from Bend. This will be less climbs then going north and picking up I-84. I-84 through Blue Mtn has a couple good climbs.
I-84 in south east Idaho at the Utah border can be deceiving. It is a gradual climb.
I-84 east of Ogden has a surprse climb. Nothing to be afraid of. Climbs over Rocky Mtn summit.
We pulled over US 34 in Rocky Mtn NP with out any issues. Time of year and weather can always be an issue.
