There are 3 or more options - try mapquest. Your map may not show it, but 840 is open bypassing downtown Nashville to get from I-40 to I-24. You're looking at 575-630 estimated miles and 11 hours or more. Options include mostly interstate versus mostly 2/4 lane highways.
