Best route from Palo Alto to Petaluma
OK road warriors. What is the best route from Palo Alto to Petaluma. I see many options, different bay crossing etc. Would prefer to stay on major roads. Thanks. Traveling in a 40ft motor home.

I assume you don't want to go thru SF? then 280S to 680N to 780 to 37W to lakeview road to petaluma. If you don't mind SF traffic (do it mid day) then 280N to 1N to golden gate bridge (101) to Petaluma. If you are going the weekend of June 21-23 then stay away from 37 as it is a race weekend.
