Best Route from Rapid City to Glacier NP East Side

We're in Rapid City and going to Glacier National Park. Is it best to stay on the Interstates with a motor home or try to zig zag through Montana on US highways? Any suggestions for alternate roads?

I -90 is easier, longer, boring. Look at going north at Spearfish to Belle Fourche on 85 to 212 west through Broadus, Mt. to Garryowen. Then I-90 to Billings then north through Livingston to Great Falls.
