I-15 to Idaho falls, then hwy 26 to swan valley, past Palisades res to Alpine, then Alpine to Jackson! Mostly flat and good roads! Not sure if there is any construction going on, probably!
This is a fast, good route.
Good route and scores some scenic points too; 26 through Swan Valley and the Alpine-Jackson routes especially are beautiful! - 2g_sExplorer

I would go a little east on I-80 to Evanston then north on WY89/UT16 to hit US 30/89. Follows valley to Jackson
That looks good and gets a vote for scenic. Thank you! - 1320FastbackExplorer^ This is how we came back from Jackson a few years ago and was no problem towing. Beautiful drive.

- jdwilfertExplorerWe did Brigham City to Alpine. We took I-15 to US30 to ID34 to US89. We then took US89 to get to Cody, which took us right through Jackson. It was good route. We have a 45-ft diesel pusher towing a Jeep. Jackson is busy so if you are camping on the north side of Jackson, look for the truck route which is a left on Millward. That helps you avoid the nutty, crowded traffic in the middle of Jackson.
I know we started our trek north of SLC but the route we took was good (for leaving Brigham City).
