best route from south lake tahoe to sacramento
I was just wondering if route 50 was the best route for a 40 foot motorhome with toad to go. We are heading to San Francisco.

You could go north to Truckee then west on Interstate 80. It will be a bit further, but doable. We driven both routes without any problems.
Did you take Hwy 89 around Emerald Bay? I felt a bit queezy with just my truck. :)
