So is the I5 as fast as the 101. I want the fastest road to the Redwood State Park. I understand that mountains and weather can make a road slow no matter how good the road is. Should I get onto the 101 sooner then at the Redwoods for the more of a chance of better road conditions? Of course this is a loaded question as nobody can guarantee me good road conditions. Just what is the norm for that time of year and I can gather my info together and decide. thanks
