Best route to Bridgeport from Stockton Ca

Question

We are pulling a 34 ft 5th wheel to Bridgeport Ca from Stockton. What is the best route? I don’t want to do 108 but what about 120 or 50? I have plenty of experience towing and a new Ford diesel. Loaded trailer is right at 14,000 on truck scales

I like CA88 and NV88 to U.S. 395. Then south.

Hwy 88 to Gardnerville, NV where you can refill your fuel tank and reload your refrigerator if necessary; then down to Bridgeport ( where fuel ain’t cheap! )...

Rt 50 is the easiest, but I use 88 a lot.

Either of the two would work.  Carson Pass on 88 is a pretty good climb.  When I lived in Gilroy, we always did the 88 route as it was a much more pleasant and scenic drive.
