Lumpty's route is better than the one I suggested because it is a little shorter and avoids a good bit of the congestion. My route has fewer turns. We always leave Liberty Harbor by the Grand Ave route. Another thing we like about Liberty Harbor is riding our bikes to Liberty State Park and the Jersey City waterfront.
