best route west side of Fort Worth TX
We are traveling from Hico Texas on Hwy 281 and want to go to Ponca City OK. what is the best route to avoid Fort Worth & Dallas?

281 to Wichita Falls, I-44 to Lawton. I-44 to Oklahoma City (toll). Then I-35 from Oklahoma City. We go that way all the time from to Lawton. If you want to stop half way, we like Coyote Ranch RV park in Wichita Falls.
