I am affraid that the Delorme mapping software is the only stand alone game in town. Everything else needs an internet connection to be fully functional.
Usless when you travel where there is no cell service.
I am using Streets & Trips 2011. & have the GPS reciever so that it is live no matter where we are. Have a stand alone GPS too & that has its purpose but it is no super paper map like a stand alone S&T or Delorme is.
Windows 10 has access to maps that you can download, 1 state or province at a time but I have not experimented with that yet.
I like my S&Ts. Just wish I could get a 2016 version.
