Best way past/through San Antonio Tx
We may be traveling through San Antonio via I35 and I37 going to South Padre Island. Probably on a Sunday early afternoon. Looking for fastest easiest way.

Straight down I-35 to I-410 on the east side to I-37. No big challenges - easy to follow the signs.
If you are coming from north of Waco - a lot of people travel on US-77 from Waco to the Rio Grande Valley - completely avoids the construction around Temple/ Belton - the Austin traffic and San Antonio.
