Will do!
I think they have sites where you don't have to unhook your TV, so I should be good to go. If not, you guys have given me other options.
Thanks,
WoodGlue - missourijanExplorerX2 on Kit Fox. We have stayed there several times, easy access and far enough off the freeway.
- MarkTwainExplorerAlmond Tree is tree sheltered and far enough from I5 so there is little noise. It is 10 miles south of Harris Ranch where you can dry camp in their lot. Or like us last month on the way south we got a very nice dinner to go and ate in the rig after we set up. The sites are a bit narrow but long enough so we did not have to unhook and our two slides did fit.
Does Harris Ranch offer pull through "sites" or availability? It's been a while since I've been there!
No! you are parked in a parking lot with no hook ups but the area to park is ample. - road2002runnerExplorer

There's two ways to get to LA from Sac... I-5 and US 99. Have you decided on which route you'll take..?:h IMHO, 99 is a more enjoyable trip as there's lots more to see and do. US99 around Visalia, the halfway point used to be pretty bad but I've not traveled it for a couple years, so I don't know if they've fixed it. Most of US99 was scheduled to be repaved. There's a KOA there for an overnighter pull thru sites.
If you choose I-5 halfway is about Coalinga. There, as stated, go with Almond Tree....Dennis
I think for the trip up to NorCal, I'd like to just get there, so I'm thinking it's the 5 all the way. On the way home, I think I'd like to take the 99. Thanks for the heads up on the Visalia info. I'll be checking it out!
Thanks everyone for your suggestions!

Go to "Kit Fox" RV park in Patterson. Both pull through and back in sites. very clean and quiet. Resturants within easy walking distance. $38 for pull through sites with Good Sam. If you need a pull through site, be sure and make reservations a couple of days or more in advance. 2 Gas/fuel stations across the street. Has a Denny's, Italian Pizza resturant, Mexican resturant , Jack in the Box.
