Big solar flares -- good aurora on Friday night??

I just saw a news bulletin: Solar flare article But the Aurora Forecast site does not say anything about this, so maybe it will not affect the aurora tonight. Not sure what this all means, but ...

AKsilvereagle, thanks for posting that description -- I can only imagine what that was like. I wonder if anyone has gotten video footage of such a fast swirling display? Not sure how I would search for it on youtube.
