I did not see anything in the original post indicating what union was causing the blockade or why. It says there was a blockade but not the cause of the blockade. Without details I have to wonder why he does not like unions. Though I am not a union person there are many who will tell you without unions there would be no middle class - in the US anyway. Now that US unions have been weakened over the past 30 to 40 years we see the "gap" between rich and poor going back to where it was before unions. How does the working class get a decent wage and benefits without support of other workers? But in Mexico we have seen the unions hold the government and the rest of the people hostage while they improve only their own lives and not the lives of the rest of the people. So what detail was left out that might have told us what this was all about?
Someone should fill "crickeydog" in on the fact that Mexico is not a third world country - though some do behave as though it were.
