The 2014 edition is not yet available but last year's edition will give you much info including on page 23 a listing of the Parkway exits for local gas stations since there is no gas available on the Parkway.
You will also note that the campground fees have increased to $20.00 per night but most of the campgrounds did not open until mid-May.
Your challenges may be dense fog at times not only obscuring your viewshed but also making driving dangerous and the possibility of closed sections due to road icing.
