Entered Canada in early September. Customs agent asked about alcohol, tobacco, "you know not to bring guns, don't you?" how long we were staying, where we were gong and purpose of the trip. I showed my passport, my wife's passport and green card (British permanent resident). These are not required for entry into Canada; however, are required for re-entry into the US. Proof of insurance for vehicles is necessary in Canada if you have an accident. I was not asked about this, nor about driver's license. In twelve trips to Canada, we have been inspected twice going into Canada and once coming back out.
Beautiful country! We've been from Vancouver Island in the west to Prince Edward Island in the eastern Canadian Maritimes. We are presently on Cape Breton Island in Nova Scotia.
Incidentally, I have claimed all of this part of Turtle Island for the Sovereign Comanche Nation. Tribute will be exacted.
