Border crossing into Canada
Greeting everyone, I'm planning a trip from Florida to Canada this coming Spring. I'm planning to travel I-95 and crossing into Canada at Watertown, NY. Drive and stay in Canada for maybe the Summer ...

Your and all in your travelling party will require passports, not necessarily for getting into Canada, but to return to the US. On one of our trips across the border at Detroit, 3 of the 4 cars ahead of us, we after a lengthy discussion with the prime agent, were escorted to the secondary inspection area, Why?? We cleared in a matter of minutes.
As for an enhanced Drivers Licence, not all states or provinces issue them. Can't imagine a high demand for them in FL, original posters state.
