When we were in Watson Lake i was in a store that had ammo for sale, i asked if guns are so restricted then why is ammo available and the lady told me everyone there has guns. I didnt bring one into Canada, but a couple we met along the way went through the process and took one. We didnt need a gun, bear spray or even mosquito repellant for that matter.
