Always somebody with a 'what if' or some other excuse for not applying to them answer.
Pretty obvious that if there is a good legitimate reason to carry a gun across, the papers will be in order & crossing will be a breeze.
Don't pitch a fit, all the Canadians require is to have you obey their laws.
