X2. When you get to OKC, I recommend the Twin Fountains RV Resort. It is beautiful, with roomy spaces and friendly, helpful staff. Would return there in a heartbeat. - eHoeflerExplorer II

Shorter route to I-40 would be to take US 65 south to US 412 west, to I-49 south, to I-40 west. Good roads. Although the US 65 to I-44 route is also good if tolls do not bother you. - jplante4Explorer II

Used this route in the opposite direction last March (35 foot motor home). I had no issues going this way and it shaves off a few miles. - retired1ExplorerThanks all. I think we will try the 65 412 way.
- jmaottoExplorerYou can take 412 if you don't mind the twisty road.
- retired1ExplorerWe did take 412 and it was a little twisty but it had some 4 lane and some passing lanes. So not to bad and we're in okcity.
Thanks - jplante4Explorer II
