We were in Revelstoke earlier this week - a very nice town. At one time it was one of the main towns for the Canadian Pacific RR. They've built a very nice RR museum there, we spent over three hours in it. One of the engineers that ran the steam trains was there to answer questions. We spent the night in their parking lot which is right next to the train tracks - the CP puts a lot of trains through there. I'd wake up when one one coming, but would be back to sleep while they were still rumbling by. About ten minutes away is one of the large hydro electric dams on the Columbia River. They have a very good video on what it took to move the new generator impeller from South America to the dam.
