I will probably get them re-done over the summer. I will check out standens. The springs I just bough have a oduble leaf all the eay to the eyes on each end which is good. The one that broke, broke right where the second leaf ended.

Never heard of anyone carrying spare springs, but then again, I never knew any one who hauled a trailer to Mexico !

Found one in La penita that had one. Boyght 2. They are a bit heftier than the originals

PV is one of the few places we haven't had springs replaced.

Good shop in Tepic...... You are a pro, but I'd look more toward Compostela, and/or head out to the Pemex, and ask there. That's how we found a great one in Los Mochis.

Thnks mosheh, I manged to find on on google that is a spring shop and is at km 8.5 on the tepic PV highway Muelles Sandoval de Vallarta. I will phoen them and see if I can pin down exactly where they are. I have to go to Tachos on Fri anyway. At least I have one spare to fix it, it makes me nervous not to have another. If one has broken maybe the others are weak. if I can get heaftier ones made, I will. I do not know why they don't extend the second leak all the away across. This one broke right where the second leaf ends. Worst case scenario is I have a friend joining me in month, i will have him bring down some more spares. I only picked up the one I have as an afterthought.
