- Ed_CExplorerWhat agwill said!!!!
- DrewEExplorer IIx3 on agwill's route. (I-75 to US301 to FL200 to get to I-95 works nicely; on that route, take Alt 301 around Starke unless you have reason to stop in Starke.)
There is one significant climb up Fancy Gap in Virginia on I-77, but nothing you can't manage. There are a couple lesser but still noticeable ups and downs on I-81, and some rolling hills. - Paul127ExplorerLooks like a good route, thank you
- Paul127ExplorerAre there any CG recommendations near where RT 81 & 84 meet?
- Ed_CExplorerPocono Downs Race track and Casino allow overnighting in their huge lot near Wilkes-Barre, PA just south of the intersection. Jonestown KOA is not bad near I/81 - I/78 intersection; they have a "country store" that will deliver your meals to the camper.
- ferndaleflyerExplorer IIINever fear Fancy Gap unless you have a real weak class A. My 36ft Monaco with an 8.3 Cummins tops Fancy Gap at 55MPH, without even thinking about getting hot, towing a 32ft enclosed with a race car inside. So much for that. The rest of it is a piece of cake as outlined above.
- Paul127ExplorerWe made the trip and had no problems, we are not at Normandy Farms in Foxboro, MA for the summer season.
- ferndaleflyerExplorer IIIWas a nice ride wasn't it. Hope you meant "now" and not "not" at Normandy Farms.
- Paul127ExplorerYes, we are now at Normandy Farms and it was a good run.
