Burmis is no where near the Canada/US border. There is no Port of Entry at Burmis. There is a Province of Alberta weigh station at Burmis however the only vehicles required to report are commercial vehicles. If you have a "weight" issue the only way that issue will arise is if you are pulled over for some other reason by the authorities. One reason for pulling a rig over is an "obvious" weight capacity issue.
