Buying fuel with credit card
Attention Avoid Pilot and Flying J= They add 100 plus dollars to your card and hold it for 3 days!!!!!!!!!

Those holds are likely due to use of a DEBIT card, rather than a credit card. I've never had that happen at a Pilot or Flying J when I use a credit card.
There is a sign on the pumps at Murphy Oil/Walmart saying there will be a hold of up to $100 if you are using a debit card to pay at the pump.
