Buying fuel with credit card
Attention Avoid Pilot and Flying J= They add 100 plus dollars to your card and hold it for 3 days!!!!!!!!!

I checked our CC balance each night that we had wifi at our local credit union on line, no problems from any of the fuel stops we made.
Reminds me of the time at Costco when I had the pump shut off at $100. Re-swiped and started the pump to get a whole $0.50 in. I couldn't even click more in. Still laugh about it.
I've seen holds of $75 to $100 when I've used my debit at the local grocery store stations (10 cent discount). Never seen more than $1 hold on a credit card.
