There is no good way to come down I-85 bypass Atlanta and end up on I-85. Either very early morning (before 5) or Sunday is ok. Everyway is about the same, taking 285 around the northside or 285 down the eastside or going straight thru. I think I would go straight thru. If you go straight thru downtown check to see if there are any sporting events going on during the time that you are passing thru.

if I hear on the radio or CB that straight thru is a problem, I guess I will try the East side beltway.
