CA 178 from Bakersfield to Lake Isabella
Has anyone taken this route? Google streetview/Maps makes it look really tight and narrow. My concern would be with rock over hangs, etc. 32' TT '99 Suburban 2500 TV

Once you enter the canyon, the first few miles are windy and kinda tight. Then at about the 12 mile mark, the road switches sides of the river and it opens up into a new easy road all the way to the town of Isabella.
