Lot of rv's use this and other routes into the San Jacinto Mts. just make sure your cooling system and brakes are in good working order, take your time and enjoy the scenery. The Thousand Trails is actually located in Pine Cove, that's the road by the Fire Station. I would go up or down during the week as the previous poster mentioned Motorcycles and sports cars like to tear it up on the weekends and there is usually one every weekend that runs out of talent.
