CA 395 from I-15 to CA 58
Its been a long time since last on this section on CA 395. Is it a good route or should I go to Barstow and pickup CA 58 there?

Went through there about a week ago there was a lot of traffic but it is faster than routing to Barstow. I think they are looking at four lanes there in the future as there was some shoulder activity in the north.
Just FYI highway 58 will be 4 lanes in a couple of years from Bakersfield to Barstow as they are now working the last section of that road now.
