CA Pacific Coast Highway (Hwy 1) Anaheim to Crescent City

Planning for a road trip along the Pacific Coast Highway between Anaheim, CA (Disneyland) and Crescent City, CA. We'd have about 10 days. Any suggestions about this route would be most welcome. Mus...

In the northern Redwoods, Gold Bluffs is beach side camping. It's in a state park, but no hook ups. And nearby Fern Canyon will make you think you are in Washington or BC (large Sitka spruce, etc).
