Cabellas, Post Falls, ID

Coming from Sandpoint, headed for Cabellas. Any reason I shouldn't pick up ID53 west by the airport and come in from the north?

Off 53 heading south, Pleasant View looks likely and not as narrow as Beck from a limited Street View sample. Seems like that routing would be shorter and avoid a lot of town.

S&T shows construction for a couple of miles right after you leave US95 but I wonder sometimes about their data base, Idaho Dept of Trans shows construction north on 95 but nothing on 53.

    95 to 90 is the easiest. If you need a dump station on the way, off of 95 to the left at I believe Dalton Way is absolutely the "Taj Mahal" of dump stations at the county facility on the right. Glad to see a Big Boys Toy Store (Harbor Freight) came to the area. I'll have to visit it the next time we are at the Elks Lodge RV park on Prairie Ave. Have fun.

    Hwy 53 is O.K. So would be going down Hwy 95 to I-90, then West to Exit #2. The traffic isn't too bad on 95. We live here and travel this road everyday. There is a Wally world at Honeysuckle & 95--and a new Harbor Freight at Neider & 95.
