You'll see most of it at 55 or 60 MPH!! BUT...if you plan to travel on the California Coast Road, plan on 35 MPH!
Plan to stop and explore / enjoy the special places you visit.
SFO - you could spend the whole 3 weeks there and not see it all!!
'Day with the Mouse' - Disneyland?? That's at least 2 days plus Knotts, The Cruise Ship Queen Mary in Long Beach.....the list of opportunities in just that area is very long!!
OK - see one Redwood and you've seen 'em all? NOT TRUE!! Take time to really learn about the Redwood forests - and Grand Canyon - been there 6 times and I still want to go back for more.
As for Las Vegas - depends on your personal preferences, but at $100 or more per seat for a headliner show, I would rather spend the $$ elsewhere! And be sure to plan a full day for the Hoover Dam tour!!
Yes, you can do it, but since you have a short and specific time available, you need to plan your route, stops, tours and activities with care - and pray you do not loose a day or more waiting for help to fix a blown tire or repairs for other problems!!
